When you go from feeling a certain way to feeling another, and are aware of the change in you, what happens then? This change in you happens in small amounts, adding one thing on top of another, until what was an unnoticeable amount of weight has become something very heavy. And why did you let it grow so large? Because you wanted to reduce or eliminate the pain you felt, you chose other options to numb or distract you for a more immediate fix. Only nothing ever got fixed. But that was the old you. That was an old story. We are in the new. So the old approach isn’t an option for the now. Because you know this inside means you’re ready for what’s next… not that you’re not.
