Fake love and real love
A Sage said that “desires are just thoughts with sensations.” It is in this state when we are most disconnected, when we are most in the matter world. It is when we are most in the matter world when we are most influenced by it and lose our way. The matter world is void of love. So it has to create its illusion of reality, with ideas of love that force us to continue to seek out love in all the wrong ways, which is why they can never be satisfied. Over time, feelings of unsatisfied desires will develop into walls that close in until all you see is what you don’t have and want. But, when you believe in the principle that “I am given what I need” (which is ultimately all I want)… you can diminish the hold unrealized desires have on you. This awareness incorporates the desire plus feelings, energy, experience and intuition. It brings perspective. Awareness also invites a wisdom. With more information considered along with concern for something grander outside of you (people, animals, plants, environment, etc…), that means real love has re-entered the picture and you are no longer under the spell of desire, which is fake love.
