It’s not the result that matters, it’s the doing
It’s funny how we need recognition and approval from our family, friends or peers. Funny how we seek this for comfort and yet we know, even when we receive what we’re looking for, it’s hollow and doesn’t satisfy… so we seek more, thinking quantity will replace quality. This approach also taints the work you’ve done because in looking for someone else to appreciate it like you do, you’re disappointed with the outside response usually. The trap is that as much as you can fill up, it leaves you faster. However, when we do the work and we don’t hold onto it, then we realize it was in the doing and not the result that really mattered. Who should you be trying to please anyway? Go ahead and set your intentions now. Much love.
