This is our first time growing food, and well pretty much anything, in the desert. There was a lot for us to learn along the way, but it was a fun 2 months. We are grateful to be able to get out into nature and grow beautiful food. It has definitely helped us to keep our spirits high and has been a creative outlet for us as well.
The aromatic sage I mention in the video is called chaparral sage. It is truly amazing. Not only is it incredibly fragrant but you can dry it out to use for smudging your home. It smells great when it burns.
