When you’re feeling heavier and you’re ready to feel better, you might ask yourself for specifics, like “what am I doing that is making me feel bad?” Wait! you think… this isn’t mine… it is natural for me to feel like I do given what’s going on right now. That is true and right. But for many of us, we add more fuel to the fire by bringing up other stories and so one negative event leads to a cascade of more negative energy, but, of your doing. It’s ok to feel sad about world events and the people affected… just be aware that you’re not contributing more to your own condition. This is a good time for you to practice your practice.
