Doing it at the moment you’re feeling it

Have you noticed that when you’re feeling “in the mood” to do something, it always goes better? So we often try to make something happen in the hopes that we get into the mood that will in turn, make us want to make it happen. For most of us, we feel this is a positive way to respond to most circumstances. So we move forward trying to do the doing while also trying to improve our attitude and perspective. That’s a lot of energy going on and added to the task isn’t it? The task also becomes a lesson in patience usually. So you get that too. But what if instead, you did what you’re supposed to do at the moment you’re feeling it? That means you have to stop doing something you’re not as enthused about, to do that thing when you are.
