Breaking Up
Sometimes you have to make big changes.
That usually means you have to break up with someone or something in order for that to happen. We spend a lot of time on figuring out how to break up and it takes a while to build up enough courage to finally do it.
Once breaking up is done, it’s done. It’s like jumping off a cliff into water. We stress the jump, but the landing is always there for us and we find our way. After jumping, we don’t remember the jump being that bad. But before we jump, we think the world is held up by our continuing with someone or something and we’re trying not to create more pain for ourselves or others.
Breaking up means you’re being conscious of your needs and that there is something new and better waiting for you when you have put this to bed. It does mean you have to choose something unknown for what it is today. Isn’t that what you really need anyway?
